I am going on vacation yaaaaaaaaay my first out of state vacation in like, five years. I'll be at RTX in Austin, TX from Thursday the 5th until Monday the 9th, and since I still have some prep work to do (and I haven't been super active the last week anyway) I'm calling a hiatus from now until I return.

Once I get back, you can expect that Cathy will be around for ALL OF THE SHENANIGANS.

This affects

ranfromnormal. Godmode rights go to Roy and Alex while I'm away o7 But she'll pretty much be laying low at the Apple and generally staying out of trouble. For now.

Probably should have put this up sooner, whoops; I know I've been extra slow this week, but I'll be on a full hiatus for all of next week and through next Monday, 7/9. I may have some time to catch up on backtags, but I'll be slower than usual all around on account of vacation stuff.

HEY angus here and I'm going to be out of the province from June 30th - July 6th, and my internet access will be slim to none. The likelihood of me being able to get any tagging done in that time is pretty low, so I'm calling a hiatus now since I also need to focus on packing over the next couple of days.

Abe will be on autopilot, and he'll mostly be sticking to the waters and keeping to himself.

calling a hiatus because the only way my timing could've been worse re: joining a new game would be if it had been the start of august (btw expect another hiatus then I'M SORRY)

basically my thinkspace has been cluttered with a lot of admin stuff that's seriously sapping my ability to do anything, and I'm recording this week so that means I won't have much time for anything that isn't wanting to tear my fingers off.

that said, if anyone is interested in 2 week late tags on his intro or threads going really slowly, I imagine I will be around enough for that, otherwise he's going to be on autopilot trying not to die until next monday

Sorry guys, I've gotta take a hiatus. I'm moving house and that combined with other RL stress right now isn't really making it easy to tag. I should be back on, if not before, the 1st of July. I'm definitely going to try to at least be around with Beast Boy for the body swap event if I can brain it!

Hi there boys and girls. I've been trying my best, but as those of you that I've been threading with can attest to (especially the last week), my tags have been abyssmal. Due to work constraints and RL drama, I'm currently unable to tag as much as I used to be able to. Starting next week the bosses have me training another newbie, so I won't be able to tag at work, like, at all... work is when most of my tags get done, due to having a kidlet and a wife in class over the summer.

With the holiday of the 4th coming up, things are going to be insane on top of everything else. This is life in the hotel/timeshare business, guys and girls.

I'm calling a hiatus until July 9th, in the hopes that things calm the hell down. I've hopes that things will settle down after the holiday weekend... boy do I have hopes.

I'm going to continue to putter through the existing threads that I have, but won't be starting any new ones.

Hey, Kate here. I'm in panic mode before my trip, so I'm going to call a semi-hiatus now until the 27th, then a full hiatus June 27th - August 23rd. (Off to Europe).

Eddie "The Riddler" Nygma is simply ~missing~ (aka autopilot in hiding).

Peeta Mellark is autopilot around, with 100% full godmod rights going to Tomato to assume whatever is appropriate for the character (including and up to getting triggered, etc); anything short of death. Please, legit, feel free to assume that he checked on someone that he would have checked on (ie Violet, Terry, Cathy, Altman, Wash) and things like that. If there's any question of what he would do in a situation, I trust Tomato to answer them if she feels comfortable doing so.

I apologize to all my peeps for the lengthy hiatus, but rest assured that I'll be back. I'll also try to get to as many tags as I can before I leave.

Pat here. So I've been rather scarce lately. It mostly started with Mass Effect 3, and then other video games and PAX and other things have distracted me as well along the way. Regardless, I'm just about ready to come back, but not quite yet.

I have a really hard time justifying Beast's lack of involvement in recent events. He ought to have been more involved and since he wasn't, I figure the only reasonable explanation is that he's gone missing, but since I don't want to do that retroactively and since I don't want to rush a whole bunch of activity just to make it for the Activity Check, as of right now, people can start noticing that Beast has been gone for a while and he will remain missing for a couple more weeks. They might also notice that Deadpool is gone, but since Deadpool doesn't really have much dedicated CR, I don't think anyone would care.

But they WILL return. I'll end my hiatus around June 15th and both Beast and Deadpool shall return with canon updates, which I'll announce once I've read up on more of Beast's canon (specifically Secret Avengers) and decide where to take him from (I've already pretty much decided that I'm taking Deadpool from the most recent issues though).

I'll still be around on Plurk obviously. I'm just giving myself some time to get amped up so I can come back in full force.

Oh, and if you guys want to throw around ideas for possible fun things for my characters to do when they DO return, feel free to discuss in the comments.

I'm buggering off to the wilds of Vermont (by which I mean "a bed and breakfast in a ski resort town") for the long weekend, and I'm not bringing my laptop, so as of tomorrow, I am on full hiatus through Tuesday. This means no tagging, of course, and I will not be available for mod work.

While I'm gone, Emma is getting canon-updated to Death of Cap (March 2007.) This doesn't mean much in terms of character development, since very little happened to the X-Men between House of M and Messiah Complex, but Emma will be getting teleporter-napped on Monday for the canon update. Before then she's on autopilot. If you need her for something Dark Energon-related, please drop me a line so we can decide what happened and backdate the actual thread when I'm home again.

Try not to burn down the Internet while I'm gone. ♥

Hey guys and gals, you've probably noticed Larxene has been a bit quiet. That's because I have TONS OF STUFF going on - the yearly bike rally, a summer vacation to plan AND an upcoming convention so I'm gonna go ahead and park her sadist butt on hiatus from now until the 16th of June when I will be back and likely completely exhausted. Larx will be eaten by the teleporters so expect her to be snotty upon return.

So in about five or six hours, I'll be leaving to go on vacation. I will be back on either the 7th or the 8th of June (still trying to figure out which day I actually want to come off hiatus in what games and all that). Just affects the CR AU variety of John, who died during the event and will just be...I guess floating in the teleporters waiting to respawn until I get back.

To anybody I still have ongoing threads with, I will be more than happy to continue those when I get back if you want. But since two weeks is kind of a long time, if you just want to drop those I totally understand. I will have the next few hours before I leave to get some tagging in and maybe a little time tomorrow and Friday while I have a brief window of internet access in the hotel. But there isn't really free, stable wifi in the middle of the ocean so I'm going to be pretty much nonexistent beyond that.

So, Diablo III and Max Payne III came out last Tuesday. That, combined with the fact I'm going to be in Dallas until next Tuesday, means that tags are slow to nonexistent at the moment and I do apologise to anyone I've been threading with and castmates!

I am definitely more than willing to pick up old tags if you want, just please drop in a note because I'm horrifically bad about keeping track of tags and get a bad case of embarrassment at my own slowness.

Hey all -

So. I've been experiencing some really frustrating shoulder pain for the last few days and it's not going away. I've been useless at tagging for days, so I'm going to have to officially back off of tagging for at least a week. Then the next week will be taken up by shenanigans of the family sort.

Right after that, I will be heading down to Wilmington, NC for a week to ~~stalk Iron Man 3 production relentlessly~~ enjoy the beach and be Not At Work. Well, I will be keeping an eye out in case we can catch them filming something because Mom also likes the idea of stalking RDJ.

This basically adds up to a hiatus from now until I get home on June 9th.

In the meantime, Betty Ross (

itsokay) will be on autopilot in Avengerhaus. No disappearing here.

Ro Rowen (

thecarisboring), however, is going to be teleporter-napped for that time period.
