Primarily, just a few things that kind of stand out to me right now. :|a

First and foremost, I do think planning out a bit better via RP would be helpful. I understand doing things on the fly; it's freakin' RP, we can only plan so much. But for awhile, you didn't seem to know if Motoko's actions during the SHODAN event were entirely her. Granted, right now, I do like that it IS questionable, and that question hangs in the air for suspense. It works right now. But I know after Thane's operation, you were kind of going back and forth with that aspect and it sort of concerned me.

Another matter with Motoko is that I understand that she's kind of a douche; it's part of her character. But right now, I almost think she's being downright cruel with Thane in his most recent post. I don't know if she remembers what happened -- she seemed to imply she did -- but it did kind of surprise me. I don't know, you know the character better than I do and it HAS been awhile since I watched the show I'll admit. It just stuck out to me.

I do appreciate the character development, though, and it's been a fantastic opportunity. I'm definitely NOT saying you're a crappy RPer or anything of the like. I want you to understand that. I'm just pointing out two things that concerned me at this time, and I want to be helpful and point them out to you is all.

I'm not sure I can articulate my feelings on how well you play this character--so can I just agree with Siri and Kuruma's comments and call it a day? Because that's basically how I feel. You do so well with a character that doesn't even technically have a solid canon yet. He's a real character in your hands and it's awesome. I particularly like how formal and technogeek he comes off as even in ic!ooc comment threads. XD

He's just really awesome and one day TronRinzler will interact with him for real. One day. Hopefully.

She is absolutely amazing. There's enough cool kid, 13 year old girl, caring about her friends, and kick ass to make me the happiest Karkat RPer ever. Also, I totally loved reading all the threads from this event; the one with Sollux and SHODON broke my little babby heart, ahhh.

8O ... Yeah I've never been correct 100% in my grammar skills (Best High School student ever), I'm not going to lie. /looks back to the applications...

But seriously, insofar as I'm doing anything right, it's just using standard conversational de-escalation tactics, and remembering compassion above all. I find it's a rewarding character type to play. My rule is nothing I would say in similar circumstances comes out of Flynn's mouth. Ever.

I'll admit, I haven't seen/threaded with you much, but what I have seen, I've loved! You've really got the hero part down! And I'm sure once things calm down, we'll see more of the derp derp John.

I love his situation with Vriska, though. Espec that log where they both kinda sorta completely went off the deep end. So much awesome to read.

I have only seen T2 unfortunately, so I cannot offer any real crit, but I do have to say I really love how you do play John. ♥ His interactions with his mom and seeing the contrast between adult!John and kid!John (which is the only one I've seen prev. to this) is super awesome and you are lovely. 8)
