What is the HMD? The HMD is an optional meme in which players can receive concrit and feedback on how they handle their characters. Please remember to be constructive in your feedback; flaming will not be tolerated on this meme.

Please note that while receiving positive feedback is also nice, it's much nicer to know exactly why someone might think they're doing a good job. Try to be specific as possible, although there's no rule saying you have to.

Anon commenting is on for this HMD, although if this is a privilege and not a right, and may be taken away if abused. If you wish to participate, just comment with your character name, journal, canon, and if applicable, any notes about your character you want to add. If you'd like, you can also link to your own personal HMDs, but it's not required.

While I have seen The Incredibles, I admit fully I haven't followed Violet enough to comment much on her. So yeah.

Dick on the other hand? Let me start by saying I love how you manage to write Dick dealing with the people from his future and keeping it in character. I love that on more than one occasion, he's had a What Would Bruce/Batman Do reaction and followed through with it. And all the times he's been there for Tim. And how in threads he's rarely sitting still - oh and the puns are awesome too.

Your writing itself is amazing and you're a joy to thread with - I always look forward to your tags. But the best part is that you have Dick so perfect despite the fluctuations in his characterisation in the comics. I know you've been having some ups-and-downs with him lately, but it hasn't shown in your tags.

OKAY. HELLO. THIS IS ALL ABOUT HOW I LOVE TERRY BECAUSE OF YOU.

No really. I had no interest in the character or show until I started playing with you. After watching the first two seasons of the show, I have to say, I like the way you write him way more than I like him in the show. That's not to say you write him differently or like you're playing a character, it's more you show so much more of him that we don't really get to see in the cartoon? You gives us a whole lot more insight into what is going on in his head and justify the way he acts or why he does something more than the show. I love it because it makes him a much more... multi-dimensional character.

Just like Alex, your writing is fluid and awesome and consistent and I adore tagging with you. We definitely need to do more with Terry and Tim, especially since they're finally starting to build up trust with one another.

Sadly, I don't know enough about Aisha and Pietro to comment on them.

I think what confuses me the most about your interpretation of Rose is that she's still sort of ankle deep in horrorterror mumbojumbo, even though you've apped her at a time where she's totally gotten over that and seems to be focused on her fulfilling her role as Seer. It's not so much that I'm against it, I'd just like to see your reasoning as to why she's regressed to that point in Sacrosanct, since I've been watching her occasionally and haven't spotted it IC.

Notes: I am seriously drifting with Flynn. Suggestions on how to reintegrate him into the game when much of his IC support network has dropped would be welcome. He, as a character, can survive it, but as a character in a game, it's a problem, because he's passive and used to solitude, so he just sits as home and contemplates the sound of one hand clapping. Not good for CR.

I don't actually have anything to complain about/crit on other than activity and like you said, you know that already. I nag because I enjoy playing with you. :) If Shepard does start getting too bland like you were worried about I'll let you know (unless I don't because let's face it I have no backbone and worry about upsetting people.)

Shamefully, I haven't followed enough of Tommy's threads to say anything outside of I adore him and from what I've seen you have him spot on.

Beast Boy on the other hand? Beast Boy I've done enough with to decide he is pretty much perfect. I'm really enjoying the log we're doing with the Titans partly because his voice is so loud and clear - like, literally I read his dialogue in his voice. I think you have his character spot on and I wouldn't change anything at all about him - except the amount of threads we have with him and Tim. Yup.
