The reserves page is for placing a hold a character that you wish to app at Singularity. Reserves are operated on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserves are always open, and are held for one week. Reserves do not ensure you'll get your character. What a reserve guarantees is that you have until the end of the reserve period to submit an application for the character. In that time, other people can also submit apps for the same character, although none will be judged until the reserve holder has submitted their application. In the event challenging apps have the same voting verdict, the reserve holder will have preference.
