What is the HMD? The HMD is an optional meme in which players can receive concrit and feedback on how they handle their characters. Please remember to be constructive in your feedback; flaming will not be tolerated on this meme.

Please note that while receiving positive feedback is also nice, it's much nicer to know exactly why someone might think they're doing a good job. Try to be specific as possible, although there's no rule saying you have to.

Anon commenting is on for this HMD, although if this is a privilege and not a right, and may be taken away if abused. If you wish to participate, just comment with your character name, journal, and if applicable, any notes about your character you want to add. If you'd like, you can also link to your own personal HMDs.

I, on the other hand, really like her. I don't know shit about Halo, but I do really enjoy reading her. She seems pretty rounded...you know, for a Spartan.

T is adorable...as adorable as a massive combat drone who birdwatches can be. It brings me much glee to read him.

And Red Pyro, I don't even. ♥ What can you say about the Pyros? (That isn't muffled by a flame retardant suit.) I love reading him and his shenanigans, but I don't know near enough about TF2 to call anyone on character accuracies.

So, you guys are what made me read Homestuck. Otherwise I never would have TOUCHED it. True story bro.

I think what I appreciate most about your Sollux are two things - your ridiculous attention do canon detail, and your willingness to extrapolate from that canon and give him depth. None of the trolls get fleshed out on-screen as much as they could be by the simple nature of the medium, and Sollux especially doesn't get much screen time because he doesn't talk to the kids. But you combine your knowledge of those tiny canon details (For instance, did I know that Sollux had a thing for Fef? No, I didn't; but I saw you guys, went back and checked and lo! It was right there, and how did I NOT see it?) with just plain good writing and come out with a well-rounded and incredibly entertaining character. I love interacting with him and I can't wait to have more shenanigans.

But purely from what I've read here, I LOVE Arbiter and O'Brien, they are the fucking shit. O'Brien is the best "I can take you/Me and THIS ARMY (see: Spartans)" sort of guy ever. I want to know Halo mostly so I can know him. Arbiter is a giant lizard alien with morality and a weapons, what's not to love? (I think his quest-like attitude is great, it's very intriguing.)

As for Tex, I know a little bit of RvB and I never really got the play with her what with the snuff film that Maine pulled, but she seems cool :C. I hope she is not trapped in tron the computer forever. (Can we have a Tron event to get her back? Cause that might be ballin'.)

And lastly: OMEGA IS AWESOME. I hope, one day, he can eat Dug when Dug tries to capture him.

OKAY SO FUNNY STORY. when i was originally considering whether i wanted to come back to ljrp/if i wanted to come to sing, i went and looked over the rp and went "...oh my god, they have a dug."

and then i looked it over more and was like "THEY HAVE AN INCREDIBLY IC DUG. OH MY GOD. I KIND OF HAVE TO COME HERE NOW."

basically he is the right balance of doof and loyalty and he is basically EVERY GOLDEN RETRIEVER I HAVE KNOWN EVER IT'S SO CUTE. NEVER STOP. EVER.

It's extremely difficult to make Thane get out and do things, so if there are any recommendations, I'd love some!

As far as Soundwave goes, I at least want to say that inwardly, he considers himself still a synthetic. He's physically a human with abilities retained from his Transformer self. He takes advantage of the fact that he can sound normal. If HE TALKS LIKE THIS, it's his normal mechanical voice. If it's in normal text, it's an average joe sounding guy.

Dude Soundwave is awesome. And we must totally plan more adventures with Dug. Unfortunately, aside from wandering around like a derp, Dug doesn't really have the mental capacity to start adventures on his own, but if we can come up with something I will try super hard to figure it all out. :D Any excuse to play with Soundwave, really.

As for Thane: SO AWESOME. Your Thane is great, I just wish I could think of things for Shepard to assign him to do, you know? (Or reasons for them to interact beyond "Hey." "Good morning.") I hate having her give orders, because it makes me feel like I'm godmoding, but if I can think of ANYTHING I'll pass it by you. Also any ideas, I will totally facilitate.

686 Ebullient Prism: Since Shep doesn't remember being gooed, I totally have an excuse for her to go chill with Prism and God I Want More Chilling With The Questionable, Evil Floating Eye. He's awesome and cheerful and awesome. I know nothing about Halo but I love him.

Grid: There is nothing about Grid that doesn't amuse me. NOTHING. Need more retard babbies and gluing people to walls.

Legion: You've got some splain'in to do, Mister. But otherwise he's totally in character and fun to read. You need to tag more with him, but you already know that. Still, I love all his Robo-Shenanigans and look forward to reading more of him every time there's a post he has to be in.

Jorge: I know NOTHING about Halo, but he's a really cool dude. I know you are concerned about him not reading in character, but he seems to be a really level headed, responsible guy, with that sort of long-suffering babysitter vibe to him. He watches the chilluns, and the chilluns don't electrocute themselves. They are very cute chilluns. He puts them on a couch with juiceboxes and is the definite daddy figure. /yammers

I hope that made any goddamn sense to you, because I think I only got about half of it.
