I know not everyone does the plurk thing, so I thought I'd put this in the OOC comm.

The X-Men have a lot of contingency plans for getting rid of giant robots. A lot. There are also, at last count, four EM manipulating mutants on the station.

However, sticking to your own canon defeats the point of pandfandom RP, so is there any interest out there in being rescued and/or awesome team-up splash pages? Danzy, what about that response team idea Billy was floating?

As for me, Emma's going to want to get the children out of danger, and then maybe have a closely-supervised robot zombie killing field trip with them?

I'm going to be gone this weekend, but I can do something as long as it goes up by Wednesday night/nobody minds backdating.

Y'know, a robot-hunting field trip could be a good exercise for Violet. They're not REALLY human... sort of. Maybe. WELL, NOT ON HER WORLD.

Backdating works best for me, but I could do just about anything. Vi's an easy voice and I can prioritise.

Emma would want her along because FORCE FIELDS. Not getting horrible Robot Devil Goo on the team is a good thing.

I can toss Charles into danger, if anyone wants to rescue him. Otherwise, I think he'll be mostly running away this time around.

So I was thinking a way this might work is, while Emma's getting the kids out of danger, Rose crosses paths with her and decides to help her out (because, y'know, seer powers), then sticks around for any Robot Murderfrenzies that may transpire afterwards, because really, she doesn't need any convincing to point her black magic at the killer robots. That sound good?

Aww, Rose is like Illyana without the "hates Emma" part. Also she's a blond teenage girl created by freaky cloning. They should be friends.

Hi! Jade here is going to be none too happy with these giant robot zombies once she finds out one of them killed her brother, and she's going to want to kick some robot ass. I'd like to sign her up for the field trip, if that's okay!

She may not have any of her weapons with her (not that rifles would really be all that useful against giant robot zombies anyway), but she does have a few Pokémon at her command! I don't think any of them really have "support"-type abilities that would be useful in this situation (I can't remember if Teleport has ever been shown to be able to transport groups of people in the anime, and in the games it obviously only transports the player character)... but they can shoot fire and stuff!

She'll have to run into the rest of the class at some point after they set out, but Emma's pretty fond of children even if they're not mutants, so tagging along shouldn't be a problem.
