I know not everyone does the plurk thing, so I thought I'd put this in the OOC comm.

The X-Men have a lot of contingency plans for getting rid of giant robots. A lot. There are also, at last count, four EM manipulating mutants on the station.

However, sticking to your own canon defeats the point of pandfandom RP, so is there any interest out there in being rescued and/or awesome team-up splash pages? Danzy, what about that response team idea Billy was floating?

As for me, Emma's going to want to get the children out of danger, and then maybe have a closely-supervised robot zombie killing field trip with them?

I'm going to be gone this weekend, but I can do something as long as it goes up by Wednesday night/nobody minds backdating.

Y'know, a robot-hunting field trip could be a good exercise for Violet. They're not REALLY human... sort of. Maybe. WELL, NOT ON HER WORLD.

Backdating works best for me, but I could do just about anything. Vi's an easy voice and I can prioritise.

Hi! Jade here is going to be none too happy with these giant robot zombies once she finds out one of them killed her brother, and she's going to want to kick some robot ass. I'd like to sign her up for the field trip, if that's okay!

She may not have any of her weapons with her (not that rifles would really be all that useful against giant robot zombies anyway), but she does have a few Pokémon at her command! I don't think any of them really have "support"-type abilities that would be useful in this situation (I can't remember if Teleport has ever been shown to be able to transport groups of people in the anime, and in the games it obviously only transports the player character)... but they can shoot fire and stuff!

I could go either way (wait that sounds kinky). Deadlock is a front line idiot, so he could probably get his stupid aft in need of rescuing (for which he would NOT be grateful at all, most likely) OR, Deadlock could get some of the zombie stuff on him and get all crazy and need to be taken down.

Admit it, at least ONE Erik wants to throw Deadlock around. XD

Erik is already in the fray. He went to the main Zone hit when the call went out. He hasn't been on the station long enough to make a call to arms, and without his own crew, he didn't see any reason not to head there immediately (One Man Army (tm)).

However, he's going to get tired, and I would like for him to team up with people, for sure.

Sean can. Scream robots away. Probably not actually break one unless/until really, really pushed, it's a muscle, Sean, but he can disrupt them and keep them at a distance. Might be useful if somebody else is distracted by evac?

SO I'M GOING TO DO A SUBPLOT POST LATER TONIGHT OR TOMORROW WHEN IT ACTUALLY STARTS but this guy here is going to be somewhat...evil, during most of the event. Would Marvel cast+others be interested in joining in helping to stop him?

Since I'm not sure if we want things to be over so easily via ALL THE MAGNETOS (and kin), I actually have a plausible excuse as to how straight up magnetism won't work the way it should on him if we want more of a threat level. /s-slides away

SO i'm trying to coordinate the ME team getting in on shenanigans with y'all so we can get some srs cross-canon interaction going with two of our bigger casts. At the very least I'm definitely wanting Kaidan to get involved. because, you know. he's a techie space telekinetic.

Tony can take on robots anywhere they can't manage to get an EMP person/thing in place since lol the suit and EMPs don't mix. He might also need rescuing to a degree though since I'd like to hit him with the 'oh poisoning' thing too since he just did that and look how happy he was about it the first time! Idk if he's that interested in the response team or what the other Avengers on base are up to though, re: killer robots.

karkat has a LOT of misplaced anger and an incredibly high bear. he also thinks it's really cool to rig explosives to bear traps, since wow giant robots. there is no way this won't end successfully.

can he tag along for the field trip. hes a mutant, even if he never tells anyone. it counts right???????????????????? (i will get cr with everyone in every cast ok ok)
