UPCOMING PLOT

Hello Singularity! Ammay here, bringing you all the option of a plot that's going to be starting on April 8th and run to April 14th. What event you say? Well, it's quite simple really - it's the

DE-AGING/AGING EVENT
even if we kind of had one already whoops

Anyway, this event is opt-in for everyone who wants to join in and goes like so:

The teleporters and the rift seem to out of whack, and everyone who steps into the teleporters steps out of them as a chid or, if they're already a child, and adult. The thing is that instead of just being themselves but younger/older, they're actually from that point in their lives. Of course the switch means that they won't have any of the memories of what occurred when they return, but a simple check on the network should get everyone up to speed.

For example, Thor would now become the equivalent of a bratty ten year old prince who wants to destroy everything. Opting out is extremely easy - either they haven't used a teleporter or they just use one that's magically unaffected.

Question! How does this work for the kids who're aging up? Should we be assuming they grew up on the station and make up headcanon for (or be extremely vague about) what Sacrosanct is like in ~10 years time, or are we supposed to assume they've grown up "back home" and take events from there?

Just asking because I'd assume the latter, but half the Homestuck cast is ever-so-slightly dead back home and they'll never actually become adults. Herp. Plus there's the whole the-canon-isn't-complete-yet thing, which means any speculation on what happens in the future could get debunked the next day and OH GOD AM I OVERTHINKING THIS

Generally, I was going to go 'grow up back home' but in the case where everyone is dead, you can feel free to have them all spend ten years on the station and make up headcanon or what have you.

It's pretty free form and generally just supposed to be a fun plot so WHICHEVER WOULD GIVE YOU THE MOST JOY

Hmm, I'm debating on whenever to age him up or turn him into Classic Tails, though since he is a kid, I don't think I would be able to turn him into his classic self anyway.

Eeeesh. Okay, in IDW canon as far back as I can discover there's really never any mention of, you know, sparkling/babby robits or anything like that. The closest we get is that last Ongoing, and the NAILs in RID.

Do I just pick an even earlier point in Deadlock's canon? (Like pre-Gasket) or could I shoot him forward in his canon (oh god y'all, Drift) or do I just go cracktacular Baby!Deadlock or...halp?

Ro is going to be six years old. Her grandfather called her his "Little Bulldozer." This is canon. Who wants to try to keep her out of trouble/enable her? ...by "keep her out of trouble" I mean stuff like trying to get her off the roof. Tiny!Ro is like Calvin without the advanced vocabulary.

Betty - I'm honestly not sure yet. If I actually find the right screencaps and icon them I was considering teenage!Betty. Would anyone be interested in doing something with her?

And for that matter, is de-aging to a teenager okay for this event? I have lots of Ideas about what she was like as a teenager away at a private school (and finally not living with her Dad).

Eli is going to go from 17 to 24 (if that's enough of an age jump?), because I have FEELINGS about the end of CC #9 and much headcanon about what happened to Eli afterwards.
