'Cause I'm a Stupid Fuckin' Cat and I Don't Know Shit

Hello everyone! This is your friendly neighborhood Pat speaking (I also play Deadpool).

In three days time, our good friend Hank McCoy will be joining us on Sacrosanct.

A few things I should note:

- This is Beast from the comic books. The biggest difference is that in the comics, he looks more like a big blue cat rather than a big blue hairy ape thing.
- As with all the other new characters, he won't be able to start posting until Friday. Sad times.
- When he first arrives, his higher brain functions will have been psychically disconnected and he will be covered in blood (for explanation, read Astonishing X-Men, you uncultured swine).

That last thing I should probably be a little more specific about.

I'm not 100% certain how exactly I'm going to play this, but I think Beast will chew the wearable off of himself and accidentally turn it on with his teeth, which will broadcast his angry snarling and howling to everyone before running randomly around the space station. At this point, anyone who volunteers will have an angry mindless Beast show up to them in person, which they can fight off, attempt to talk down, or perhaps kill if someone wants to take it that far. I probably should do this in a log, but I'm kind of going for a public humiliation thing here because I'm a terrible person.

Ultimately, Emma Frost will restore his higher brain functions and result in a rather awkward public apology from Hank.

But yeah, if you want to let me know now that you intend to throw someone at Beast on his first day, that might give us a chance to plan ahead in case you want to have some kind of epic battle or funny shenanigans.

Too bad Chuck is already paralyzed or I would have volunteered Beast for the privilege :P

Still, it would bee cool if Chuck could try to bring back his higher brain functions so there could be a fun psychic conversation. Though of course he'll fail because XMFC Chuck isn't as powerful as AXM Emma Frost.

Not sure if Quicksilver would do much besides run away unless he was attacking Wanda or something.

Terry will probably be in rough shape, but they might arrive at roughly the same time which would be rather funny. Terry would get up, injured and with his suit malfunctioning, and then he's attacked by a big blue cat monster. Good times.

Thom could... I dunno shoot at him or something.

Regardless, any or all of your characters are welcome.

Well, that would involve Beast getting into Zone 03, since Charles... isn't in the habit of leaving his house unless he needs to at the moment, sob.

re: pietro, it would depend a lot. He's kind of teetering on the edge of a heel-face turn to villainy (just like he is in every third issue he appears in, really), and he'd definitely recognize Beast as one of the X-Men, so it would depend a lot on how they happened to run into each other. :|a

TBH I might throw Terry at him anyways just because NEW CHARACTER SOMETHING TO KICK OFF WITH \o/

I guess your Charles wouldn't recognize him anyway since he got transported before his Hank transformed. Ah well.

Hm, well if you think of something for Pietro to do, by all means go for it.

I would like a Beast vs. Batman brawl. This would be fun. It could also be a good way for Terry's batsuit to get broken up since I believe the mods said that would have to happen and I think it's a bit more entertaining than "it gets broken in transit". Totally up to you, though.

No, he would! His canon update took him to post-movie. :3

Well the thought was for him to sort of crash-land in the junkyard (thus the batmobile!), but a brawl sounds right up my alley. \o/

Oh right! Well in that case, wouldn't Charles see the short video of Beast (or at least someone who looks an awful lot like him) and immediately leave to try and pacify him?

OK, so yay! I get to guilt-trip Emma! So much fun.

She's been ignoring her guilt trip since she got to the station, since there's no one around who knows about it (with the possible exception of geeky characters from 21st century non-Marvel Earths), but that doesn't mean she's not still on it.

Suuuup! I could totally toss this darling at him. In a big ol' bubble ball that he's welcome to chew at, or play fetch with himself?

Sounds like fun. Fair warning, though, invisibility probably wouldn't work since he would be able to smell her too.

Yeah, Beast will sadly not recognize Banshee. The Banshee he knows is bigger, older, has facial hair, and has a daughter that broke Deadpool's heart.

...And now I wonder why Deadpool hasn't talked to Banshee yet.

Still! Banshee intervening for FRANDSHIP would be awesome.

Because you have been merciful and haven't put Sean through that brain-breakage at Sing, too? I also need to finally READ them comics, because that story must have been amazing. And heartbreaking. And I totally blame Ryan Reynolds for getting to love Deadpool - and RP for getting to APPRECIATE him.

Sean totally would do that. He can... probably scream Beast into immobility until somebody can help bandage/tend to him or something? He'll be really upset when he sees how hurt Hank is.

Sera will float in the air and make an ecto ball of yarn for him to play with, maybe one of those feather's on a string, or a stuffed mousey. He can just chew on it since it will be all gummy and probably not break for a while. Sera will be all, ok so I got this cat thing...what do?
