What is the HMD? The HMD is an optional meme in which players can receive concrit and feedback on how they handle their characters. Please remember to be constructive in your feedback; flaming will not be tolerated on this meme.

Please note that while receiving positive feedback is also nice, it's much nicer to know exactly why someone might think they're doing a good job. Try to be specific as possible, although there's no rule saying you have to.

Anon commenting is on for this HMD, although if this is a privilege and not a right, and may be taken away if abused. If you wish to participate, just comment with your character name, journal, and if applicable, any notes about your character you want to add. If you'd like, you can also link to your own personal HMDs.

I like how you manage to get Dave's vulnerability (he's 13 and trying to save the universe FFS) out there without compromising his coolkid facade. It's a delicate balance, and you strike it well.

ETA: Also meant to say that he's Doomed Timeline Dave Now with Extra Feathery Asshole and Sprite, which makes the insecurity more marked, and consequently his efforts to conceal it. That comes through, too.

Wow it sure would be great if I could hold a thought in my head longer than 45 seconds.

My main known issue is needing to be around more. I've been pretty sick for the last little while, but I'm trying to get that on track as much as possible. As for what little I am around, I'm always up for hearing both what people dislike and like about what I'm doing so I know if I'm on the wrong/right track, so lay it on me as you see fit.

I like what I've seen so far. Vasquez is my favorite part of the Aliens universe, and you haven't let me down yet. (Because clearly it's very important not to let down someone you've exchanged 10 words with.)

Jaaaaaaade. I really enjoy tagging with your Jade. She's one of the genuinely nicest people in Homestuck (must be the Egbert DNA) and you're good at balancing that with the fact that she really is bright underneath the dreamy ditziness, and unwilling to be pushed when it's important.

This is something I've meant to drop off for a while, but...

A few months back, I finally got around to watching Legacy. Sure enough, Jeff Bridges was in there. Sure enough, your Flynn felt like you'd nailed him down perfectly. I can hear Bridges with each post I see of yours, and the cross of zen and The Dude will never cease to be amusing for me.

I haven't actually interacted much with Alex; however, the thread with Pietro was quite a fun read. It's not particularly useful crit, but Alex seems interesting and has left me wanting to find out more...? :|a

-There's a good chance I'm failing. Leoben's always been a difficult muse for me, so there are times when I feel I get it, and times when I don't.
