This is something I've been putting off for a while, so. I'm just gonna do it and get it over with. I'm dropping Cortana. The reasons are numerous and vague to the point of being pretty much totally unimportant. Muse death, the announcement of a new game, hypno-toads, take your pick.

Anyway. I'd just like to give a big fat "<3" to the Halo/Red vs. Blue casts for being so goddamn awesome and attracting me to this game in the first place. I've pretty much never stopped having fun since the second Cortana got accepted to right now (which was like 8 months ago, goddamn, time flies). Thank you guys, seriously. I don't plan to be outside of this cast for a very long time.

My mother has just been admitted to the hospital thanks to severe complications from a bad chest infection + recently diagnosed lung cancer, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to call a hiatus while I handle the bureaucratic and emotional side of things that go with all this.

I'll be back when the current plot/event/shenanigans are over (the 10th, I believe?) at the earliest, but may be absent a little longer than that. We'll see.

In the meantime Quorra will just be lying low at the Tronhaus, I suppose, so godmod rights go to the Dude and his wife the happy couple, Flynn and Alan, while I'm gone. If that's cool. Otherwise, yeah, I'll just say she's chilling around the pad somewhere.

SURPRISE NOT-HIATUS

Hey guys, Siri here--and for once, I'm actually not telling you that I'm going on hiatus!

Anyway, after a a few weeks of getting punched in the face repeatedly by life (it's a long, not terribly interesting story), I am very tentatively pulling myself off hiatus! I know I owe backtags to half the game at this point, but if there are any threads in particular you want to remind me of in the comments, GO FOR IT.

… also, I swear I will intro Ismene once the event is over and I've made at least a tiny dent in my backtags. (Basically, Ismene is a very polite ghost-computer hybrid who used to run a giant space warship. She is here to kill you with kindness and also organize all the things.)
