Species Swap Event

On May 20th, Kaylee and Bro are going to go on a date. Normally, this wouldn't mean anything to anyone on the station except for them, but Kaylee just happens to be a very curious mechanic whose idea of the perfect date involves digging into the wiry heart of the station.

Long story short? The teleporters are about to start malfunctioning. While they'll still get your character from point A to point B, there will also be a solid chance that they will be one of the lucky people who experiences a random teleportation error. This error? It scrambles your character's DNA and they might just come out the other side with fins, hooves, or mandibles. A human is now a salarian. A troll is now a golden retriever. In short: species swap.

The effects will last until the 27th when Hypatia manages to replace the necessary parts to repair the damage done.

Howdy everyone! Don't mind me, just getting myself another character so I can be more active here!

For reference, this is Mon, also known as the player of [Bad username or site: ecto_biologist title= @ livejournal.com] bringing you my second Singularity character!

He's short, he's stocky, and he's here to get the job done. For those of you who've played Portal 2, he should be familiar - it's ATLAS! He's a manry robot who hides passion and curiousity and a desire to test behind a gruff, no-nonsense working demeanor. He's here to make your lives more enjoyable, and probably learn to do some more testing in the process! Be kind to him, or not. It's up to you!

But above all, have fun! Because then ATLAS will stare at you like fun is a crime in a serious testing environment such as this.

My name is Parron, and I was enabled fiercely into joining this game by Linda, the bastard— I like long walks in the rain, alcohol, and being unbearably awesome.

...so we put some Zuko in your honor and yeah. We so excited.

I MEAN, OKAY, HERE WE GOOOO. My name is Bayley, and I've been derping around LJ RP for awhile. But this is my first character at Singularity, and let me tell you, I am so excited to be here! A little bit about me. Well, um, I'm pretty much uber dorky and simultaneously both a six-year-old boy and an old lady. I'm currently in college, working towards some kind of markety-designy-filmy sort of degree, and yeah. I like LEGOs. And British mysteries. And pretty much everything else ever.

So anyway, I am bringing you Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender! This is the third time I've played Zuko (previously at ms_elegante and vertiline_rpg), but I've had a break with him for awhile and I'm STOKED to be starting up again here! What should you know about Zuko? Well.

+ He's a firebender, which means he can create and manipulate fire with his body. It's pretty rad, and Zuko's pretty good, but not nearly as good as his sister, Azula.
+ He's also the prince of the Fire Nation! But not just any prince. He's the dad-banished-me-and-burned-my-face-and-I-was-dishonored-but-then-a-lot-of-crap-happened-and-I-came-back-and-then-rebelled-against-my-dad-and-now-I'm-good-type of prince.
+ From said burn by daddy, Zuko has a nice scar across his left eye. He's used to people looking at it, but still doesn't mean he likes it.
+ Zuko has a short fuse and is probably going to hate it here! But he's very adoptable. Even if he doesn't want to be adopted.

And for those of you familiar with the Avatar canon, Zuko is coming from right after The Firebending Masters episode in season three. So he's come a long way and knows the true source of firebending, but he's still on his redemption quest.

...Did I mention I tl;dr everything? Well, there you go.

Starting tomorrow I will be heading out for the hectic mess known as Anime Central aka ACEN in good ol' Chicago, IL. WOOHOO. This means a 9-hour drive for me (YAY) and probably little to no internet access over the weekend because I will be doing FUN AND AWESOME CONVENTION-Y THINGS.

And I won't be coming back till Tuesday because my friends and I decided we actually want to do tourist-y things on Monday after going to this damn con for 6 years and never seeing any of Chicago.

ANYWAY if any of y'all happen to be going, keep an eye out for Captain Jack Harkness/Captain Hammer/Ryuhou and possibly go to my "How Not to Write a Lemon" panel on Saturday. 8D
