Late intro!

Hey guys! I know this is kinda late but I've been swamped with midterms. Luckily those are over so I can go ahead and introduce Yukari Yakumo from The Touhou Project. She's crazy powerful with the ability to manipulate borders, but she's nerfed here so she can only use it to teleport around. She also has the ability to find an insane amount of non-lethal magical projectiles in very pretty patterns called danmaku. She's a massive troll, who enjoys messing with people to see their reactions. She hails from Gensokyo, a sealed off land in Japan filled with all kinds of mystical creatures called Youkai. My AIM is, surprise surprise, borderbender if you want to get in contact with me.

I'm really excited to be a part of this community and can't wait to get started!

"Whatever Happened To Those Quaint Terminator Folks?"

So, this was actually scheduled to be written out in a really epic and awesome way, but then there was a mass of schedule-clashing and assorted illness and... We decided it was better to just post up here what happened, for those who are interested and wondered what the heck went on. :)

(1) The T-X was impersonating 7 and Sarah Connor had taken her to her hide-out. The T-X didn't choose to kill her, however. She wanted to learn from her, because she was the one source of main inspiration for the leader of the resistance, John Connor, who she figured had a chance of possibly ending up here (or who she'd attempt to figure out a way back to her reality and get).

(2) Then John Connor turned up! And there was scheming misdirection by the T-X!

(3) Here's where things left off: Sarah, John and Lassie Flipper the T-800 went to some sort of facility thing and found Marcus. At this point, they were going to split up and Sarah was going to stop off at her canyon cave of doom to retrieve who she thought was the 'real' 7.

(4) Here's what was planned but was never written (yet can now be presumed to have happened): Sarah turned up and things went a lot like the start of this clip. Because the T-X didn't need to learn from her now and was aware John was around! So, a MASSIVE FIGHT OF EPIC PROPORTIONS happened and Sarah (and possibly Marcus or whoever else was with her) realised she'd actually been sheltering a new kind of Terminator which can impersonate people and has built-in weapons.

And that it was really blonde. D:

AT THIS POINT, REALLY DESTRUCTIVE SHIT HAPPENED.

It concluded with the T-X either being somehow pushed over the side of the canyon or holding onto a speeding vehicle, which Sarah bailed out from and which then crashed over the side (which is slightly more awesome), taking the T-X with it.

(5) 'Space prom' then happened at some hand-wavey, ambiguous point after that.

Whether or not Sarah and the rest presumed the T-X survived the fall or thought it was destroyed, is up to them! But she's perfectly functional. Still. And is soon about to do something horrific and sneaky. c:

FINAL DESTINATION

So, anyone fond of zone R04? Well those theme parks it's got? One seems to be looking a bit more yellow than usual. Abraxas has been testing his power of pain infection and his first target. Yes. A theme park. The rides will have crazy yellow circuitry like patterns all over them - but hey maybe the park just added a new theme. The infected rides still work and can be ridden, but they aren't exactly safe anymore. THEME PARK RIDES OF DEATH HAVE COME FOR YOU. They will malfunction, they will randomly stop or go faster than supposed to. They will be crazy. And sometimes deadly. Surfaces that have an extreme amount of circuitry will be somewhat painful to touch giving static shocks; however they are only found on the outside of the rides or all over control panels. So the seats are fine. You can sit without shocking your butt.

Feel free to go forth, get some popcorn, and find and play with those death rides!

event question

Okay guys...

So this SHODAN event. I'd put this in the discussion thread, but I don't think anyone will see it.

First: Is two weeks too long? First week is just kidnapping people and doing hideous things to them, second is big damn heroes. I thought it'd give a semi-realistic timeframe for grabbing and mutating folks, but now that I think about it that's kind of a long time in LJRP terms. If so, how do you guys want me to divide the time? Advice?

here's the doc for reference.

Second: Thinking of March 5 as a tentative start date, since my spring break starts next Wednsday at 11:00 pm, and that gives me a week of relative freeeeedom. how do you feel about this.
