Under much deliberation during hiatus, I decided to lighten my load a bit. I regretfully inform that RED Soldier (sgt_crockets) has left the premises of the station. He was my longest and strongest muse, but I think it's high time I give the guy a break for now. With luck, maybe a much better one will come along!

On the bright side, this will allow me to focus on feeltheraeg and vespa_americana. I still got some time to go on my hiatus, but I'm already feeling really excited to get these two back into the game with a fresh start in the new year.

As everyone knows, Singularity is growing and as the game grows, changes must be made to deal with the increased traffic and work load. We've been discussing a few things for a while, and finally we've settled on what we feel would be appropriate changes for the game. It's very important that everyone reads this post thoroughly.

This is just a heads up, but there is going to be a large event going on in February. Details are to come, along with a set date, but if you want a basic idea what the characters are in store for, you might want to have a look at this youtube playlist.

Welcome to Singularity's second activity check!

Activity checks are not optional unless you have declared a recent, official (as in, filled out a form in the hiatus post) hiatus. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you'd like to request an exception on your own or on someone else's behalf.

How does the activity check work at Singularity? The game's check is rather simple at the moment, requiring little activity. The list of acceptable forms of activity are as following.

• 1 singularity_rpg post + comments
or
• singularitylogs activity (participation in a log). Action logs taking place inside a singularity_rpg post are also acceptable, so long as there are at least 15 of YOUR comments. In a 30 tag thread or action log between two players, 15 should be your tags and 15 should be the other person’s tags in order to count as activity
or
• At least 15 comments in someone else's singularity_rpg post.

Note: The requirement for activity must fit within the activity period. That is, from the end date of the last Activity Check, 11/20/10 to the end of the current one.

As a secondary note, characters accepted within the month of January needn't show activity, however you're encouraged to fill out the rest of the information so that we don't accidentally remove the character.
