What is the HMD? The HMD is an optional meme in which players can receive concrit and feedback on how they handle their characters. Please remember to be constructive in your feedback; flaming will not be tolerated on this meme.

Please note that while receiving positive feedback is also nice, it's much nicer to know exactly why someone might think they're doing a good job. Try to be specific as possible, although there's no rule saying you have to.

Anon commenting is on for this HMD, although if this is a privilege and not a right, and may be taken away if abused. If you wish to participate, just comment with your character name, journal, and if applicable, any notes about your character you want to add. I KNOW I NEED TO BE MORE ACTIVE with Geordi...I am having a really hard time feeling confident with his voice. Apart from his intro post (http://community.livejournal.com/singularity_rpg/109007.html), he's also had a little bit of awkwardness with Kaylee (http://community.livejournal.com/singularity_rpg/128946.html) and then got nabbed by GLaDOS. (http://community.livejournal.com/singularitylogs/55540.html?thread=3078388#t3078388)

Crit is more than welcome for all three of them, but I'm especially hoping for suggestions for him. Thanks, guys.:)

Plot hit before I could do that post I planned for Flynn and Geordi (which we should do if you're still interested), but FWIW, I didn't notice anything off about his voice during your intro?

Thanks! And yesss, I am totally interested. He's currently in the process of getting rescued, so once Flynn is out of CLU's clutches, we should totally have them meet.:)

Flynn's technically out now, but busy hacking. The event threads are going to be back-tagged forever and a day, but it's Flynn, so it's not like it's gonna change how he behaves. x3

Parker is amazing. I laugh, every time— and I don't know her canon, but I do know that the way you write her is very consistent. So, if anything, you have certainly not gotten less in-character?

I don't ave a lot of crit for Sarah, because I have a bad memory, but I wanted to comment on how she just kinda takes over on John all the time. It's hilarious, and so exactly what I'd picture a mom doing in this situation, particularly one like Sarah. I wouldn't have thought of it.


Geordi, you just need more friends for him to talk to, and then he'll have more opportunity and reasons to talk, yeah? Branch out and tag all the people, when event-time opens back up to normaltime.

Thank you! Sarah's still convinced that her (four years older than her) son needs her to make all the decisions for him, yeah. Eventually she'll start easing up a bit, I hope, but I'm glad it comes off as making sense for her.

And yes, introing Geordi just before the big event was hard...so we'll see how his voice comes once things settle down.

I'm struggling with trying to figure out the intro timing for a character I've just apped, so I might be in the same boat. (presuming she's accepted before everything ends and makes my fretting moot, lol)

I think part of the problem is that, being that he hangs out in engineering, he's not generally portrayed as a very....er...socially aggressive guy? That's not the right phrase, but it's close, I think.
