Dropping Zombie as soon as I can get to the post, so...

I know I COMPLETELY dropped the ball on the SHODAN plot D: I underestimated the shit that would go down in my real life that week and just. I am so sorry to everyone. In the future should I run ANY other large-scale plots I promise, PROMISE I am going to do a better job of planning, organizing, and executing things. Just. Augh. x_X;

I think the plot was just a shitty timing issue for you. Next time will be even more awesomer. I loved this plot. Loved it.

Ahh, please don't be so hard on yourself. I think the plot was AMAZING-- It was a great first taste of the game for me, and I was amazed at how well it worked out with the Dead Space one! I had so much fricken fun reading the logs and everything-- I mean, jeeeez, the sheer number of tags alone impressed me. It was a ton of work, and you handled it well!

Real life, surprise surprise, is a valid concern and should always always always always come before RP. Regardless, I think the plot was great!

As for Bro: Ohmigosh, I love your Bro. He is just... So wonderfully Strider-esque. There were so many times that I would just sit there in awe of his responses, unable to come up with something in reply, ahahaa.

She scares the hell out of me. I don't know of any higher praise I could give you in regards to her than that. I think you do a great job of portraying just how crazy she really is and that she truly believes in her god complex. Also I'll say it again I just think you're very brave for taking her on as a character as she would be so easy to get wrong. Keep up the fantastic work!

As for dropping the ball, well real life shit happens and there is absolutely no need to apologize for that. I'm just thankful that you took the time to set it up in the first place and that I've been able to play in it.

Oh good :D if she is scaring the hell out of people then I am doin it rite. One of the harder things to do with villains in general is to keep 'em terrifying, and in the past I've failed in that regard. So it's good to hear that she's stayed creepertastic.

Then I'm glad! :D I've also been pleased to see John running around in that plot, and I hope that via slow backtags I can see him and Sarah smash the shit out of things (and even if backtags don't happen, the mental image is lovely)

It's more that towards the end I stopped tagging as much and a few people (Mon, particularly) wanted in and I just could not make it work. I lost track of a lot of shit and the finale was not nearly as well organized or awesome as I would have liked, and I felt like it got VERY homestuck-centric when I would have rather had moar space marines

(not that I don't love you guys but. yeah)

I don't think you dropped the ball at all. It seemed to me you were consistently on top of things, posting OOC notes when you had to and doing ALL OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL THINGS. I don't know if you've done big plots before (I certainly haven't), but if it's your first, holy crap son. You DUN GOOD. Also goddamn, I never would have been able to keep up with all dem tags. Mad props.

That said. YOUR SHODAN. Freaks me the hell out, and actually made me look at web clips of her being a freaky bitch. She's SO CREEPY and you play her perfectly in that respect, and now I can hear her voice in my head whenever I read her responses in threads.

As for Bro. Okay. I haven't yet made it through Homestuck, but YOUR BRO IS SO GOOD. SO GOOD. I gather he doesn't have much canon (or that it's obscure), but what you've given him is so good and makes him so well-rounded as a character. I so enjoy reading through his threads, because he EXUDES character depth. ~~Also ILLEGAL STRIDER NINJA ON GRID WITH PORTAL GUN is THE MOTHERFUCKING SHIT~~

Lol it's certainly not. I actually used to mod/run a whole game, and some of the shit I pulled at Cape and Cowl was very, very huge. so yeah.

Bro is indeed very minor. As a Guardian he never actually talks in canon, so much of what we know about him is based on how Dave and other characters react to him. Like we can assume that because Dave looks up to him and tries to emulate him in every way that they're quite similar, but Bro is also an adult (... man-child) and has some different tastes (... puppet porn...), so...

I really wish the SHODAN plot didn't run at the same time as the Dead Space one. You couldn't have waited?

Um it was completely different people who thought of it and the mods who brought it to Teal, because different people wanted to do different things. That's where the conflict came in. Not because it was Teal's preshis babby (which by the way he'd been planning for months anyway?), but because different people were invested in both plots and both camps wanted to do both plots next. Don't go passive-aggressiving at him for agreeing to a viable solution that several members of the community, none of which were him, backed and brought to the mods. It ended up pretty awesome anyway, man.

I wasn't being passive-aggressive. I legit asked if Teal couldn't wait. I presumed the Dead Space event should probably have come first because it was a mod event, and that was my assumption for which I will apologize for.

Regardless, I think it's actually turned out... not bad? But like both didn't quite get the attention they deserved. The necromorphs were immensely downplayed, and with everything going on at the same time made it hard to really "choose" which one to go with. Frankly, it was just kind of a cluster-fuck, and I probably am the only one who feels that way, apparently.

I don't want to come off sounding like a jerk saying this either, but Teal is female. She probably doesn't care, but it did confuse me with your chosen pronoun for her. Unless she identifies as a male, then I apologize for that assumption as well.

It did come off passive aggressive instead of asking, but I'm sorry for the misconception. Honestly though I do think the necromorphs and the Marker got plenty of attention - from the SPARTANs and Mass Effect crews, mostly, but then the SHODAN plot got attention mostly from the AI peeps and Homestuck cast. How visible each plot was depended on who you were paying attention to I think. And there were people who DID go with both plots, so it was completely possible.

As a side note, Teal refers to himself as male, so I do the same out of respect for him. He has said he doesn't give a shit about pronouns though so. Believe me, I've known him years, I'm not using male pronouns out of ignorance.
