A Wild OC approaches!
So, Hey! Dalrint here bringing in...an original character! Which is a little strange for me 'cause I haven't actually played one in a game in...ages. And ages and ages. BUT ANYWAY.
Meet Maria. She's a genetically engineered technopath/Cyberpath from a vaguely dystopian cyberpunk future where corporations engineer people as weapons. She was supposed to be a telepath but someone probably dotted the wrong DNA or something and they got her instead. So she talks to computers and machines, and they talk back. She escaped from the corporation that made her a few years ago and went and hid in the Hong Kong underground, so she's seventeen years naive and four years hardcore, which...evens out to mostly naive. And also somewhat paranoid. Just a little bit. (A lot.) Unless she thinks you're awesomely amazing she will not tell you her real name. That sort of paranoid.
Now, since the game is full of AI's...she can hear you in her head, AI people. And she can talk to you with her MIND. Which she will try to do all the time. It's a limited range thing, though I need to sort out the details of how it might work over the communicator, since...I don't know yet. She can also talk to computer programs and make them function in ways she wants. Make doors open for her, read someone's email with her brain, that sort of thing.
OH! And she has two tame nano-machine colonies on her wrist. That kind of act like puppies. And eat stuff on a cellular level and turn it into other stuff. Also they can eat people on the cellular level too. And armor. And chairs. and...other stuff made of matter. They're basically the same eating machines that destroy the world in badly written comic books...except they do what she tells them to. And sometimes she cuddles them.
Man I am rambling. I could talk for ages about this if anyone wants me to just IM me?
ANYWAY! I am not sure when I'm going to intro her. I want to do it right now, this very second, but with the events going on I imagine there aren't a lot of people around to talk to her, so...erm...
I guess I should wait? Opinions? Er, uhm...
