There's a New AI in Town (and a very new player to LJ)

Hey everybody. My name's Eric, and I'm fairly new to Livejournal, Singularity, and the internet.

I'll be playing the AI Mack, from the Halo Universe's novel Contact Harvest. (Don't worry, I haven't read your source material either...)
(jk - I couldn't say that with a straight face. I'm pretty knowledgeable about most of the active canons [come on, I read Halo novels >.>], and am looking forward to playing with all of you.)

While I have no idea what I'm doing, and no previous affiliation with LJ, a friend of mine is an active member here -- so I've heard a great deal of stories about many of you already*. To that end, it will be nice to finally make your acquaintances (I won't let on who I already know about. That would be unfair :-P)

I'll usually be logged into my character account, as I'm not a regular LiveJournal user yet. So feel free to contact me through that if you want to make a friend, share tips and criticism, or... whatever one does off stage.

Above bolding was done for the benefit of people who skim introductions. Don't worry, neither I nor my character have some weird typing quirk where important phrases are bolded. If anything, my typing quirk is bad word play.

Now, I'm off to fill out my wiki page and figure out a good way to jump into the double event fray...!

I would just like to drop by to point out that Mack is definitely my favorite from Harvest. Flirty cowboy AI (whose alternate personality is LOKI of all people)? HELLZ YEAH. He was great and the end STILL makes me cry every time I read it. ; ;
