SHODAN plot discussion?

Hey, folks.

The gdoc for the SHODAN plot is getting pretty unmanageable. Half the Tron cast can't even open it anymore, and we can't be the only ones having this problem. Would it be possible to move discussion to a post in the OOC comm and save the gdoc as a reference for the final version of events? Right now we're kind of leaving half the game out of the plotting, not necessarily 'cause they want to sit out, but because they can't get at the gdoc.

Which is just not cool, man. :<

People could use this post if they wanted and I'll turn off notifs, or Teal or one of the mods could throw one up? I don't want to step on any toes, and I want to emphasize this is just me suggesting things on my own initiative because I've seen increasingly many people mention they can't open the gdoc.

Could be size and all the formatting. I HAVE NO IDEA IF THAT ACTUALLY WOULD HAVE AN EFFECT HOW I GOOGLEDOC.

However this post is fine for me if Teal is cool with it!

I like gdocs, but if you don't have a lot of system resources, it tends to barf on bigger documents, especially if a lot of people are editing simultaneously. I think it's a good idea to use it as the final reference, so that people can go and edit their bits in as they finalize them, but having the discussion in there is just going leave out increasingly many people as the file gets hueg liek xbox.

I am working on it. I'm in the middle of trying to manage my taxes sob. But it's at the top of my RP priorities right now.

You don't have to do anything, though? People can just use this post if everyone's cool with it. I'm not having any trouble with the gdoc, and I can edit anything in to the main post that needs to go there.

Trust me, you guys aren't the only ones, and it has been brought up. I love Google in many areas, but the Docs leave a lot to be desired on a larger scale.

I fully plan to, but the Troncast isn't finished working out the logistics among ourselves, though I may get impatient and just post anyway.

I was waiting until there was more up to reply to, as I'm still trying to figure out where it'd be best and most amusing to throw mine to. (Seeing as Wash and Epsilon can only be in one area and they're all I have, want to be sure before I volunteer them.)

Though I will admit the stuff the Troncast is working on sounds like it'd be very interesting. :D Can't wait to see more detail.

The more the merrier! We're trying to figure out the logistics of running a Game Grid--are people going to get temporary discs? how's that going to work? will the Games be lethal to start out with, or just stepped up to lethal near the end of the event?--before we put up a signup sheet.

There's also going to be an infection plot, so it looks like Anon and Gibson are getting infected. You thought Gibson was annoying before...
