Hello, everybody. My name is Jeff, and you might've seen me hanging out in thegravitywell the past few days. This here is Cortana, from the Halo series. Y'know, killing aliens, doesn't afraid of anything, all that good stuff.

Cortana is an AI, in case you weren't familiar, and is predominately assigned to assisting the Master Chief, the series protagonist. I'm taking her from after the short "Origins" from the Halo Legends anthology. At this point, she's been in space with the Master Chief for three years, so, she'll certainly be so very glad to have contact with others again! Her mechanical body is going to be one of these things. The resemblance to any resident creeper!spheres is 100% coincidental, I assure you.

Welcome, Jeff! I too know nothing about Halo, but if it helps, Sarah will hate and distrust Cortana on principle!

Man, half the fun of playing an AI is people thinking "OH MAN IT'S GONNA GO ALL SKYNET ON US WHAT'RE YOU DOING DON'T TRUST IT"

especially since Cortana's going past her expiration into crazytimes anyway. Not that she's gonna tell anybody. Shhhh.
