Hello, Singularity!
My name's Angus, and I'm bringing in Abe Sapien from the Hellboy universe! He's a fishman with a bunch of emotional baggage and works and lives with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense and fights monsters for a living.
He's being taken from the beginning of the B.P.R.D. storyline, Garden of Souls, and he probably won't be very thrilled to be here. But whatever, he'll just have to deal.

And yeah, the Hellboy universe is really fantastic. I highly recommend reading the comics if you ever get the opportunity. They are amaaaaaazing.
