What is the HMD? The HMD is an optional meme in which players can receive concrit and feedback on how they handle their characters. Please remember to be constructive in your feedback; flaming will not be tolerated on this meme.

Please note that while receiving positive feedback is also nice, it's much nicer to know exactly why someone might think they're doing a good job. Try to be specific as possible, although there's no rule saying you have to.

Anon commenting is on for this HMD, although if this is a privilege and not a right, and may be taken away if abused. If you wish to participate, just comment with your character name, journal, canon, and if applicable, any notes about your character you want to add. If you'd like, you can also link to your own personal HMDs, but it's not required.

ahaa I'm not really expecting any crit, since I've been here all of 24 hours and Teddy hasn't exactly had time to settle in, but anything is welcome! I also have an HMD on his journal, if you prefer.

I'm aware of my activity issues, but unfortunately my schedule has a lot to do with that. I have actually been considering getting a smart phone with a data plan just so I can tag during the day without having to go to Panera over lunch to use the wi-fi there.

What I need help with:
- How to be less boring (no, really, I'm grasping at conversation straws sometimes for what should be easy, casual conversations)
- Voice issues. They're both a little bit off. Ro more than Betty, I think.
- Tips on how to tag faster? As in, not take three hours for a simple response? I think that goes hand in hand with the first tip, really.

Both of my journals have anon screened HMD posts. IP logging is on because of an HMD post that got flooded with racist spam comments a while back, but I'd be willing to turn it off if someone asks anon here.

I haven't interacted with Betty or Ro much (or at all, but I'm getting there), so I can't speak to IC-ness, but in terms of RPing casual conversation, I tend to have issues with this too? And my suggestion is to just go with your gut.

When you're having voice issues, it can be a little harder, but if there isn't really an endgame character development-wise, I've found it's easier to just let it flow as oppose to worrying about it too much.

And as far as voice issues are concerned, my suggestion would be canon review, if you have the time. That's really the best way to get a character's voice fresh in your mind again.
