Hi, my name's sAmmii, and this is my first RP on Dreamwidth!

Not to fear - it is far from being my first RP, or even journal-based RP.

About me, then. I'm 33 years old, live in Northern Indiana. Hold a degree in political science and an ABT masters in Irish History and Politics. (I'll write that thesis someday...I swear). My emphasis was on terrorism and ethnic conflict, with my research on consociational methods of peacemaking. Derp. I'm a geek, yes.

I've been RPing since I started college in 1996, and I've RPed everything from Les Miserables to Twilight to True Blood to Supernatural.

I'm very excited to be bringing in Finnick Odair from The Hunger Games. He's my favorite character in the series because I love his complexity and the tragedy of the character, and I'm looking forward to exploring those parts of him that Katniss never sees.

I'm still reading around and figuring out exactly what's going on here, making sure the rules are straight in my head, but I would love to plot with anyone - canon-mate or not.

Can't wait to get started and meet all of you!

Haha, I know people that go to both, but I don't. I spent three years at Liberty University. In Virginia. I came home and am doing it DLP.

And gosh. Karkat has all of the rage. All of it. He swears way too often and usually as a creative insult to go with it. In reality, he's kind of insecure and has WAY TOO MANY FEELINGS to go with his short temper.

I'll say world, because my classes ran the gamut from World War II to Modern Spain to US Foreign Policy and then some hahaha. But I definitely had a lot of focus on class issues. My indecision as to what I want to get specific over in grad school is part of what's holding me back from looking at schools haha. But eee omg the Troubles!!

Finnick is my favourite character from the Hunger Games, and I was super excited to see your app (it was amazing!)

I'm Roy, I play a fair gaggle of people (Charles Xavier from XFC, Quicksilver here from Ultimates, Aisha from the Losers, Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond and one of the many armoured supersoldiers tromping around!) and am always happy to plot with people. :3

AND ON THE TOPIC OF PLOTTING, Terry has a bunch of CR with Katniss and a little with Peeta, so he'll probably end up broing around with Finnick, given the chance.

Finnick is my favorite character, too. I didn't like him at first, but his unexpected depth really caught me off guard, and he's the only character I cried for in the whole series. <3 I hope I can do him justice!

I can totally see that, and don't get me wrong, Finnick really cares about Peeta and Katniss both. He also knows intimately how damaged minds work, so he'll be pretty good with Peeta while he's having one of his episodes, and definitely won't hold it against him later.
