Yo dawg. I heard you like hedgehogs, so I put a hedgehog in your Sing so you can nostalgia bomb while you RP.

...or something. Anyway, hi! I'm Mega, and I'm... not entirely new, but today I'm bringing you Classic Sonic, straight outta Sonic Generations! For those who haven't played Generations, he's basically a younger, cuter, and quieter Sonic. Oh, and he went on an awesome time traveling adventure with his older self... who is totally the coolest. Homing attacks, man. Homing attacks.

While he's 100% silent in Generations, I'm not playing him as a true mute because... let's face it, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. He'll still be pretty quiet for now, but he'll talk if he has to. Just... pardon his cracking voice. TVTropes inspired headcanon and all that. He'll at least use some text, though.

Btw, I've got Sonic here set to canon update past the end of Generations soon, so he will recognize mini-Sonic there.

And yes, the Metroid games are a rich tapestry. Zero Mission in particular's a great starting point.

Gosh, I can totally see shenanigans of some kind. Classic Sonic's definitely gonna be pleased to see his older self, though. And without having to worry about fixing time and space, too! Just his luck.

I'll have to look into Zero Mission, though. Is it a prequel to the first game? :o
