New character, new player...well sort of

Hey there party people. I'm new meat...sort of. I'm Morgan, or otherwise known as insaneiac, and I was here a while ago before idling out like a total failure due to life in general. But now I am the back, with a character near and dear to my heart, and I'm sure to a few that grew up gaming on the PC.

This here is Garrett from the Thief series of games. He is, as you maybe have deduced, a thief. A master thief, one should add and then subsequently stress, who has stolen from just about everywhere and just about everything. He's a cynical, self serving, cunning, clever, jackass with a heart of gold. He also may or may not have your wallet, but you're probably too busy sleeping after that blackjacking to realize he has it.

I'll be taking him from the tail end of The Metal Age, just after saving the world for a second time. And I'll be introing him in shortly, probably after my trip to the doctor.

Last but not least, here is my plurk in case anyone wants to add and/or reach me. And voila, I am le finished. I'm looking forward to playing with all of you shortly. :D

GOOD LORD ALMIGHTY GARRET. I haven't played the Thief games but from what I've seen of them (and the character), I love that dude to death!

They're some of the best games a person can play on PC. Sadly, Thief 1 and 2, like System Shock, absolutely despises dual/quad core systems. So they're lost to us future generations, sorta. And yes, Garrett is the bees knees, I loves him so.

I'm sure that I could probably find a workaround somewhere. Like an LP or something. I've always been rather curious about those games. I have a friend who's obsessed with them and he got me interested ever since he sent me some of the music from it (Box Of Troubles is such creepypasta).

Bobbin Threadbare did the whole trilogy, and it was a treat to watch. He's quite thorough with the game. Plus there's just something about the way he commentates.
