What's up, internet. It's Jeff here, with character number....4? Or. Number 1?
Whatever. It's Cortana. From Halo. Y'know, the one I apped like a year ago when I first came here? Yeah, that one.
For those who are unfamiliar, Cortana is an AI from the Halo video game series. She works for the military and as AI go, she's pretty cool! She usually chills out in the head of the franchise's main character, Master Chief, but obviously, there ain't no Master Chief here, so she'll be in a slightly different platform, one resembling a Forerunner Monitor.
For those who are familiar with Cortana from the last time I played her, there's one important difference to note: before, I had played her from after Halo Legends: Origins, when she had been drifting in the Forward unto Dawn with the Master Chief for like, four years. She had passed her seventh birthday, which meant a whole host of bad shit. This time, she's being apped from right after the end of Halo 3, right after the Master Chief has gone into cryogenic sleep and she's dropped a beacon for the UNSC. This means she's only 3 years old, and thus, a lot less bad shit. Of course, this technically means that she won't remember her first go-around on Sacrosanct, but well, she's kind of a fast reader, so it won't take her a particularly long time to get caught up.
I'm very glad to be bringing her back here, and I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported me doing so.
