Hi sing! I am Jack the mysterious GMT-lander who is sleepy all day then suddenly very awake at like 2am my time, and this is John Sheppard to add to your collection. He is an Air Force dude who likes American football, Ferris wheels, flying, golf, surfing, things that go really fast, shooting bad guys and romancing the local priestess like Captain Kirk -- only not deliberately. Maybe. Also he tends to be mysteriously involved in everything ever despite the fact that there should not be enough hours in the week for him to manage this.

Also I copy/pasted this from a description I wrote of him somewhere else because it's like 9am. Good morning!

I HAVE SEEN THE FILM SONNY IS FROM

it was sort of like that only they were replicators

they rebuild others like them and repair themselves and are very hard to stop. And can read your mind and be creepy and annoying. OVERALL SONNY IS LESS SCARY. And less human looking.
