Hey there, I've been looking at the way you're playing Tex and I have some crit for you. I hope you take it to heart. I would have left this in Tex's journal, but you have anonymous off and IP logged which I'm not comfortable with.

I'm not sure why your Tex is so possessive over York or cares who he is dating or not dating. This doesn't seem very IC for Texas especially since she had a canon relationship with Church (and apparently seems to be married to him by now in your AU?). In Out of Mind, Tex seemed pretty okay using York and putting him in danger to further her own goals and aside from a brief moment of sadness she didn't seem to care much that he had died. I'm not sure where or how that interaction is translating to "he is mine and get the fuck out" with your Tex.

As for why Tex is so possessive over York, I realize that does not appear in canon, but is a result of the year+ she spent in Amat with York as her only close ally/friend/collar partner and the CR that was built during that time, where she came to rely on him as the only person who believed she was human/was willing to treat her that way. I personally am not pushing for a pairing with them, OOCly York and Sarah are going to stay together and Tex will stay with Church, it was simply more interesting for Tex to take offense to Sarah (more for her AI hating than anything else, which will get admitted eventually). Tex does have jealousy issues, as evidenced by her temper when Sister appears in Blood Gulch, which she really has no reason to take offense to since the Blood Gulch crew are hardly her close bffs. But her real beef with Sarah is the idea that someone who is important to York, someone she will probably have to interact with and be nice to, god forbid, is going to learn that Tex is an AI and start treating her/thinking about her like an object, and there's nothing Tex can do about it. This is also the source behind her grudge towards the Spartans. Amat CR is the reason behind Tex's marriage to Church, she married him IN AMAT during the brief time Church was active there. Their relationship is still antagonistic but developed a little past Season 5 canon while in Amat, as Tex decided they should make the most of what time they had together and put their arguments aside for five minutes.

As for the "he's mine" comment, it's not meant romantically. It's meant to encompass the group of people she considers trustworthy allies. York just happens to be the most prominent member since he's a competent soldier and in the best position to accept her identity as an AI without batting an eyelash, and had been the one in Amat trying to calm her fears about becoming rampant and providing her stability. In other circumstances, she would say the same about Delta, Epsilon, Church, or another non-hostile AI fragment if one happened to appear in Sing. They are 'hers' if they are on the Alpha's side and nominally under her protection.

Bluh bluh finding out she was an AI in Amat changed her a lot, it left her feeling manipulated and like a victim, and caused her to cling to what she had. Her memories, her former life, even Church's apparent love for her were "taken," possibly false, and she's angry about being powerless to prevent herself from losing more things/people. Hence the overreaction.

I do apologize for not posting this somewhere in her app, but as long as it was I felt that most people wouldn't want to read a blow by blow of what had happened to her in Amat when the application was already such a huge wall of text.
