hello I'm going to subject my dumbest characters to this
WOULD THESE WORK;
Grid: Yellow Submarine looping constantly on her bracelet.
The shadow: those goddamn flashing neon pop-up ads that jump around the screen
so it can learn a healthy fear of the internet
