The setting section as written for Marvel 1610 assumes previous knowledge of Marvel 616 comic canon and then provides a plot summary to Spider-Man. A setting section should describe your character’s setting in such a way that someone completely canonblind can read it and gain an understanding of the universe; a plot summary and comparative analysis does not fulfil this. While major events specific to understanding the setting (such as Ultimatum for a 1610 character) should be mentioned, the focus should be on the major factors that makes their world different from ours. Key issues to consider can include the source and variety of supernatural abilities, major factions (political, military, other) in operation, major characters that have an impact on the setting and/or the character, differences in technology levels, etc. Please revise your setting with this in mind.
Note: The limitations proposed in your application are unnecessary as Peter Parker’s abilities do not qualify as game-breaking on Singularity’s scale.
