Sorry for getting this up late!
The station heaves, and all of the colors reset themselves to normal. Light wavelengths are as they should be again. But the color inversion is now replaced by something new. It might be subtle at first.
From March 26th to the 28th, atoms won't really know what they're supposed to be anymore and the elements will begin to change into other elements. Primarily this will mean that a lot of elements, especially lead, will abruptly turn into gold. But all elements will be affected. Some hydrogen might turn into mercury. Some iron might turn into calcium. Some chlorine might turn into sulfur.
Only parts of the station will be affected, though it's up to the players which parts. Obviously the breathable air and water will generally remain as it's supposed to be. Character's bodies will also generally remain unaffected. But there's no reason you can't be horrible and turn someone's swimming pool into sulfuric acid, or turn all the iron in their blood into arsenic.
This will also mean a whole lot of electrical and mechanical failures. Hypatia and the life support will be fine or obvious reasons (unless the mods are feeling cruel lol), but your lightbulb won't work if the tungsten filament is suddenly replaced with potassium, cars won't work if all of their carbon becomes oxygen, and so on.
Mostly, though, there will just be a whole lot of gold around. For those hoping to make a fortune, sorry--elements will all go back to normal on the 28th.
