RIFT EVENT: DAYS 1-2
Welcome to the Rift Event! OH SNAP! For the next ten days, Sacrosanct will basically be going completely fucknuts. Here’s what will happen for the first two days.
With a shudder, the station will start to change and warp. Basically, distances, sizes, shapes and directions will be completely screwed up from March 20th to the 22nd. This will be everything from Escher-like staircases to non-Euclidean geometry. Small things might be enormous, while enormous things might be tiny. The distance between your front door and the sidewalk might stretch on into infinity. You might be able to walk up walls or on the ceiling. Parts of the station will seem to bend and twist and suddenly you’ll have mountains sprouting sideways and trees growing down. Pretty much any sort of spatial distortion you can think of can happen.
Additionally, anyone with space-based powers or space-based sensors (like robots) will have a couple of options. You might have your powers/sensors completely messed up, you might get nauseous or ill, or you might be completely unaffected and even able to detect “real” space. Or a combination.
