Pool party

Emma, being Emma and having nothing better to do with her time, won Cap, Tony, and Thor at the singles auction, with an assist from Deadpool being so awful that Tony was willing to pay for himself rather than be forced by an honor-bound Norse god to hang around with Deadpool for an unspecified length of time. You'd've done the same thing in Tony's position.

Anyway, since she's making a strong effort not to be entirely horrid SEE SHE'S A GOOD GUY NOW, she's letting the boys off light and just having a pool party because it involves men not wearing shirts, and at some point someone will probably push Cap into the water and that will be funny.

Two questions:

1. When can I schedule this so that it won't step on anyone's toes? I was leaning toward the 16th/17th, since it's a weekend and that'll give the new characters from this app round something to dive into see what I did there.

2. What, IC, would get your characters to attend? I know there are some characters who would just sit in their bunkers with their guns and their tinfoil hats for anything short of being dragged places by drones, but what about the relatively sane sorts who'd be on the fence about it? ("Free booze" is already on the list.)

Maybe a fiscal incentive, similar to the speed dating event? Apparently the answer is always MAKE TONY PAY FOR IT.

An open invitation would be good enough to catch Harley Quinn's interest. If this here girl is accepted, then she'll likely be hiding somewhere with a tinfoil hat unless she's dragged there. :D

Oh, and those dates are perfectly fine!

1. Oh god I really want in on this event but...the 17th I might not be around as much and I know the 18th I'll be gone all day. If you started the 16th it would be lovely >_>

2. An open invite would work fine for both of my characters but I could see monetary incentive working for some of the people more on the fence or who might be more apathetic :|a Or activity. A contest with a prize? Promise of more spectacle might might some people curious?

That might be a bit iffy for me, as I'll be in New York those days. But I suppose if I can convince Tomato to let me out of a cage I can be online for a bit!

Also the door prizes actually sounds like a really cool idea - they can be anything from actual gifts to 'SPEND FIFTEEN MINUTES IN A SMALL INCLOSED SPACE WITH A SHIRTLESS CAPTAIN AMERICA' depending on how horrible we want to be.

Though Thor can't volunteer that idea either, considering he wouldn't get why people wouldn't want to come to a party. Also because he's royalty and people generally just showed up to where he was anyway.

Schedule doesn't really matter to me, so that's all good! whatever everyone else is comfortable with I'll try to make time for.

I think I could probably wrangle at least half my characters into going. WHICH IS, YOU KNOW, A LOT... pietro would be there to laugh at the avengers though. And possibly fetch drinks for his sister. ... And emma if she asked really nicely.

Also Jin will stay well away from the water which obviously means he should get pushed in along with Cap.
