So let's say, hypothetically, that someone is paranoid and suspicious and does not want to join the MMO or create an avatar at all. How far could she get without doing so? If Sarah this hypothetical person has a buddy wearing an avatar to walk around with her and open doors etc., could she get through the entire event without creating an avatar, without being completely locked out of doing/interacting with anything? Could she and her friend still interact - will people wearing avatar skins still be able to see/hear people who are not?
