The magmaworms are highly aggressive. Many of the tunnels were actually dug by them. They prefer the sands of the desert to move through, but the worms have hundreds of rows of crystaline hard teeth and also a very acidic saliva. ...Which they can spit. Adult magmaworms are colossal size creatures-- 20+ feet long.
