So I guess a bunch of them come out of the rift, turn anyone they kill into wights (zombies) and wreak havoc until some heroes kill them or something. Does this involve characters other than your own? It involves whoever wants to be involved. If so, have you gotten the other players' permission? It would be totally up to the player's discretion. If people didn't want to be involved, there are plenty of warm Garden Zones that the Walkers would probably avoid.
