Reference Point of the Canon Update: To the end of the final episode of The Zeta Project, "The Hologram Man," after she and Zeta witness Dr. Selig's apparent death.
How Will This Change the Character?: Well, she's not going to be happy, and if a Zeta shows up she won't be as gung-ho to get home since their major goal - getting Zeta's creator to prove he's not dangerous - now seems impossible. (Word of God says he's not dead, but she doesn't know that.) She'll also know precisely what set Zeta apart from other robots and makes him so human.

HOWEVER, her canon update also brings an item with her that she picked up at the beginning of the episode.

Nature of item: Portable holo-emitter worn on the wrist.

Briefly Explain the Intended Purpose of the Item: Holographic disguise. It can scan in a person's image and project it convincingly around the wearer, down to details like the wind blowing clothes and hair. It won't fool infrared, et cetera, but the image is very convincing.

If that ability is too much, it can be broken and she'll be looking for someone to fix it, or getting in to trouble because it starts malfunctioning randomly. It would be nice if she could make use of it, but honestly the potential for shenanigans with it broken would be fun too. The technology is advanced even for her time, and there's only one known scientist who's perfected it. Either way there's a LOT of potential for her to screw up because of it.

Any Large Items?: Nope. The holo-emitter is about the size of a wrist brace and she'll be wearing it. (Reference pic here.)
