Potato Event ALMOST DONE

OKAY event is going to wrap by Sunday 9/4, I have two more posts to make that hopefully will go up tonight or one tonight and one tomorrow OR BOTH OF THEM TOMORROW. GO AHEAD AND KEEP TAGGING YOUR QUEST LOGS FOR AS LONG AS YOU WANT. ICly the data disks will be assumed successfully collected, the containment chamber will have been built by Hypatia and any volunteer engineers, and Twosix will have already been coaxed into it by the time of the next Hypatia post. There might be a backdated log for him being coerced in, but the part where he gets put in the chamber is already decided.

Now for a question: at some point during the quests, your veggie/fruit Hypatia guide is going to demand to be left behind to cover your escape with her hacking skillz or whatever. Don't worry, everyone will still get paid their credits. While it would be convenient for as many fruits/veggies to be left behind as possible, please let me know here if any character absolutely positively would refuse to leave her no matter what, so that I'm not compromising anyone's ICness. Otherwise, if at all possible, please consider any way where it would be IC for them to leave her, even accidentally.

Darwin probably wouldn't leave her even if she asked, since he is pretty NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND OR FORGOTTEN OR KILLED EVER like that.

I'm not sure what to say here! On the one hand Chellbot's done this whole carrying-an-AI-in-a-potato thing before and would be thinking of that. Also she doesn't trust Hypatia. But on the other hand, if she'd be more useful back there... :|a

Pretty sure canon!Chell's the potatobearer anyway.

If Hypatiatater really thinks she'll be more useful staying behind, Chell will be like "okay whatevs." She's in Mission Mode, and getting the team and the schematics out safe and sound is the important thing here.

Jaedri won't like it, BUT, if Hypatia demands it, she'll probably eventually acquiesce, and try to convince Darwin that it's Hypatia's choice.

He totes doesn't react by dipping people and letting Alex fling hula-hoops at the enemy when people try to leave, but I think Jaedri has a p. good chance of convincing him to begrudgingly leave her there.
