Two plots goings on, and addressing the issue with the recent LJ burp.

Okay, so all of my replies in this post have magically gone the way of the dinosaurs and I've been told I can't ever have them back. Guys, I'm not sure what to do :C. I don't remember who I have and haven't tagged and at this point I'm not sure how it will matter since it's all ~poof~. I will reply to anyone who wants me to, but I don't blame you for dropping that thread since y'know, the spool has gone and combusted.

The Grand Councilwoman
Now for those of you whom the GCW has drafted into her little rag tag gang of volunteer vigilantism and other shady good guy dealings, here's what she's up to.

Because the shuttle service to the planet Asphodel is currently out of order, she needs to find a different way to get down so she can have a strategic meeting where Hypatia (and who knows who else) isn't breathing down her neck. Enter the TARDIS. The GCW has convinced the TARDIS to test her bigger-on-the-inside limits by seeing how many people (and transformers) she can fit before they all hop out an airlock and go for a space field trip.

Here's Mod / Game caveats:
- Because we don't know the resistance, we can't find their tunnels
- Because the surface of the planet is volcanic and toxic like whoa, organics will die if they hang out outside
- Because of how the teleporters work, if we decided to stay on the planet for longer than a month, we would be up a creek without a paddle
- Because Hypatia is a crazy bitch, if the TARDIS decides to further the exploration trip and go off into space, we all get shot down with missiles

I was thinking there would be a Roll Call log, where the TARDIS meets people, and we play Russian stacking dolls, by putting people inside Convoy and then putting Convoy inside the Tardis. And then after IC figuring out who does what, how, and who is packing the snacks, we start another log where we go to the planet for adventures and talk srs bsn.

Any questions? Suggestions? When can't you guys do this thread? Who of the rag tag army isn't interested in participating?

Rainbow dash is the first to go. There will be an open post for people can talk to her corpse. Left in a fountain.

Thane seems sane. He gets tasked with making sure Samus plays nice with everyone.

I was actually thinking that too. [Both ideas] There would have to be a rock, paper, scissors game to figure out who went in Convoy though.

Also Jin will definitely be coming along for the trip to Asphodel, however since his biology allows him to hang out in hazardous environments he's actually just going to literally fly down there himself and scope out the planet's surface.

I also don't mind throwing Jin into the Zira murder plot, though it would probably be more of an epic chase scene than a fight or a murder. He has a policy about never killing living things and only fighting back when his or someone else's life is in danger. So he'd probably just try to lead her away from other people instead of fighting her. Also if she did manage to hurt him things could get...interesting since he bleeds FIRE lmfao.

If he flies down, everyone is going to knooow. Someone will look out the window, see some kind of kid wandering around all hunky dory, be all, "CGW YOU LYING BITCH, PEOPLE CAN STAND OUT THERE JUST FINE," and then they will traipse on out, and die horribly. And respawn up on the station.

hahahahaha Zira. But yeah Jin basically like. Uber powerful sometimes. Dragons live inside STARS where he's from so his blood is a couple thousand Kelvins or something o_O He's pretty ridic.

So would he be alright with people seeing him as a dragon / finding out? The GCW's goals for this mission is to have a private talk with people about what the heck is going on everywhere. Also is Twosix-Six or Hypatia a lying dirtbag.

Is Jin a shape shifter or does he have a hologram?

He's sort of been coming to terms with the fact that he has to tell people what he is (he's spent 600 years NOT telling people) so he's gonna be okay with it. I'm actually gonna do a log like tomorrow where he's hanging out as a dragon--both so that he can test his wings and so people can see him and get used to him. It'll be weird for him but it should be fun to play out.

He's a shape shifter but it's much much much more complex than with Camille who can just change shapes like you change hats. Jin spent about sixty years perfecting the current human shape he's in now, hence why he looks like such a mutt. He's basically 90% biologically human, but stronger, faster, and with metal bones and flaming blood. Transforming between them is easy but it takes a little while and he can't turn into anything else. Not unless he has fifty more years to practice.

TL;DR he's from an original verse that I have spent WAY too much time worldbuilding in, CAN YOU TELL?

Okay. That's cool. I didn't want his coming out of the closet as it were to be GCW's adventure post if you weren't comfortable with it. He might need to tell people again if they don't meet him all dragony. Do the cats come with?

Also, how big is he as a dragon?

I like these details. He's powerful but not in your face obnoxious. I approve!

That might be enough to interest Zira, but I don't want her killed. I'm also a little hesitant of people finding out she's a lion. Or seeing she's a lion right away. He will totes be there for the lunch break, he loves food. Also I remember that the TARDIS projects a barrier around it/herself, so even if you opened the doors on an alien planet you'd be fine.

He never ever kills living things intentionally (unintentionally is another story, there was this whole thing that happened in Prague once...) But yeah, I'm liking the idea of this plot, it's very Ghost in the Darkness. Have you seen that movie? Anyway yeah, Jin will at the very least be going 'NUU WHO'S KILLING PEOPLE /BAWLS" but he doesn't have to become a target or get involved in a fight or anything :)

Zira might stalk him around a little, but his cats might notice if she's all liony. The thing is, if Jin ends up in some dark place, or somewhere where he wouldn't be able to use his senses or something, then Zira would TOTALLY get a little bitey. But the most she can do if he'll see her is just creep on him.

Ghost in the Darkness is about those two man eating lions in Africa who would legit stalk and single out and kill humans. Like they actually targeted humans. Crazy shit.

Fortunately the cats won't notice if there's a lion around--like, they won't smell her or anything. They're technically only programmed to take notice of robots after all. And yeah, unfortunately if Zira bit Jin she'd. Probably UH GET HEARTBURN L-LOL. She can claw him up though. It takes a few seconds for his blood to catch on fire so she can be all WHOA HOLY SHIT GOTTA FIND WATER.

When I hear stories like that (before I learn about the people and their lives) I empathise with the lions, and get all sad that they're driven to that because people suck, globalization, capitalism etc etc. That sounds like a sad movie. :(

Depending on when we're running this, I will be more available or less, but I'll definitely be around in some capacity. My boss is going out for surgery this week so work will be a bit more hectic than usual, but that might just mean more backtagging from me ; ; I don't want to delay the plot at all.

For those wondering, the TARDIS is the Eighth Doctor's version, so her console room/interior looks like this. She's so steampunk it isn't funny. She can use her projections inside, so the crew might see her wandering around through walls and shit, but she might also just communicate telepathically.

Any of the crew who is strong mentally/has psychic tendencies is more than welcome to talk to her that way.

Yes, there is a swimming pool. BASICALLY if you guys want to make a space inside her interior? Feel free. She'll probably cordon off specific points of her interior just so people don't get lost/muck with stuff, but there will be some rooms available to them and they're welcome in the kitchen/garden/library/pool/empty bedrooms/what-have-you. If in doubt, ask! I'll be happy to answerrrrr
