Hypatia Event OOC Post #5
Alrighty, everyone! I'm terribly sorry for all the comm spam, but I've set up a few open logs to encourage people to thread and interact during the training and downtime section! I hope you'll all forgive my lack of creativity, but the format of the Asphodel log tends to work rather well, and I hope it will serve us for these next bits.
As usual, feel free to add a location to any of the logs, or an open thread for your character. It's all good.

I believe I've updated everyone into this. If I've missed you, please let me know!
I put some consideration into the teams for the final assault, so that people could try to get more...team based CR, or restructure accordingly, and I'd like to run it all by you as a group. Nothing here is set in stone, if you want more or different CR, if you have CR with these people already, or if you just can't think of how your character would really interact with your team, this can be changed.
I don't want to make anyone stressed to tag, for any reason. Stressed out tagging just isn't fun and that's what we're here to have.
Once teams have been locked down, I can work with the mods to come up with unique challenges for everybody and hopefully make the most of this whole event!
Hypothetical Teams
If I've missed your character, please let me know! I don't want to skip anyone, but I get easily overwhelmed by data.
Support: Characters communicating across teams and live, with each other, from a Forward Operating Base that we take out of Hypatia's ring.

479 - Kanaya - Carolina - Wistalia - Take the FOB and hold it. Can be a moving strike team.
Darth Nox - York - Ashley - With Nox as a tank and Ashley as support, York will have way more time than she needs to hack anything. Chance of success: very great.
Shepard - Kaidan - Wash/Delta - Classic one-two combo. Vanguard, sentinel, and a sniper. With Delta on the assist, hacking is cake. Or, Delta could be assigned FOB and EDI could be the fourth man, here.
Shepard - Hawke - EDI - Classic, with a twist. Vanguard, mage, infiltrator. Hawke can whip these drones/enemies around like she controls gravity or something, while Shepard plows through them. Anything that slips through the madness, EDI can handle single-handed while she unlocks doors and hacks terminals with the other. If she were capable to breaking a sweat, she still wouldn't have to.
Emile/Cortana - Steph - Thane - Emile's got the biggest gun, Steph has the mid-range skills, and Thane can back them up any which way. With Cortana around to help with hacking, additional assistance should be unnecessary. Thane can be traded with Wash/Delta, or Ashley to same effect.
Samus - Jituss - Rinzler - I would take this lineup into any endgame battle ever. Done.
Vega - Roxas - Zelgadis - Wash/Epsilon - Vega can really clear a room, especially with Wash on the assist, and Zelgadis can have this wrapped up without a problem. Roxas will have those doors and obstacles dealt with and anybody who slips through the hail of gunfire and...hail, he can take care of.
Arthur - Liara - Marco - Rose - Seriously, though, this is boss. There aren't enough tanks to go around, but Arthur and Liara won't have any problem wiping out enough enemies to make any generic space-marine-commando proud. Guess what doesn't bother either of them? You got it: weightless targets. With Rose's sight and similar imperviousness to gravity, Marco is either a support character, fighting hand-to-...claw, or assisting her in overrides. Either way, he has only a very...slim chance of catching a bullet.
Deadlock - Duo - Tucker - (Inevitably) Eve - This is officially the sassiest team. Nothing but robots and bullets and sass. And also a small child, because, inevitably, Eve has to join the sassiest team. Good luck with that.
Though it occurs to me that Tucker and Eve are both played by the same person. Possible solutions for this conflict are: Eve could be a floating character, bothering many teams, or Tucker could be traded with Wash/Epsilon, Hawke, or EDI, easily.
I think that's everything...for now. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's alright. I can always spam the communities, some more.
EDIT: Naturally, I've forgotten to append this with the Missions.
The teams headed into assault will need equipment and we will all need vehicles over. Naturally, this means we need quite a bit of material to be collected, ICly. If you'd like to get some CR with other characters on mission, who may or may not be part of your team, or who are couriers, this is the ideal way to do it.
Each of the following missions will require between 2-4 characters of varied talents. They can be ICly assigned by Shepard or any of the tacticians (If they like, that is. This includes: Liara, Carolina, and Shockwave.), if you want CR between two characters who have never met, or this can be hand-waved. If you want a mission, just comment here that you've claimed it.
Additional missions to be added shortly.
Raid the armory - 2-4 people
War museum infiltration - 2-3 people
Medical raid - 2-3
Junkyard combing - 2 person teams, retrieval can add additional people.

Requirements:► One hacker, to obscure mission from Hypatia and ensure that assisting characters are not seen. They will deactivate security measures and hack terminals remotely or on site.
► Infiltration. Backup in the event that an object cannot be hacked due to lack of computer parts.
► Heavy lifting. Someone has to carry these back.
Objective: An additional five assault rifles, case of breather units, and five suits of lightweight armor are needed. Two of those three inventory lines are required to complete the mission.
War museum infiltration - 2-3 people
Requirements:► One hacker, remote or on site.
►Infiltration. This is a construction zone and under lockdown, infiltrator must be skilled with scaffolding.
► Archaeological or extensive weapons experience a plus. Engineers always welcome.
Objective: There is a museum of weapons on this station and, for as long as anyone has been here, it has been off limits. Now it's time to break in and see if this universe has ever generated anything worthwhile. Team will be accompanied by a holographic VI drone. Items can be scanned or stolen. You're looking for defensive objects, space worthy vehicles, salvage, or weapons.
Medical raid - 2-3
Requirements:► Hacking skills or backup.
► Hacking can be replaced with basic infiltration skills.
► Heavy lifting a plus.
Objective: Medical supplies, we need them. Hospitals are littered with drones, but no real security functions. Get in, get out, and try to minimize Hypatia's taking notice of you. You're looking for any and all medical supplies and tanks of O2 you can carry.
Junkyard combing - 2 person teams, retrieval can add additional people.
Requirements:► Keen eye.
► Ability to dodge shrapnel falling from the sky.
Objective: We need vehicles. Additionally, anything dangerous, dangerous looking, armor-like, or generally interesting should be combed from the junkyard. A list of mundane items can be provided, OOCLY, if your characters want to discuss specific things they're looking for.

Nepeta kicks ass and has tea parties ok no no I'll be serious. She fights with Wolverine-style claw gloves and is strong and fast enough to take out giant multi-headed monsters by herself with no problem.
